Free Will Baptist Family Ministries has been caring for hurting children and families for over 80 years. What began as an orphanage in 1939 has expanded into a multi-faceted and diverse ministry. Family Ministries serves pregnant teens and young women, infants, toddlers, adolescents, teens, senior citizens and families with programs in Tennessee, Virginia and Arkansas. Family Ministries is nationally accredited through CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) as a service provider. This signals our commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.
Due to the tremendous needs, especially in Western Arkansas, Family Ministries established a separate not-for profit corporation called Arkansas True Vision Children’s Homes. This organization serves abused and neglected children in the care of the Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) providingemergency and long-term care for up to sixty or more children on a 24/7 basis.
Maggie House will provide long term residential care within four separate cottages designed to serve an average of eight children each in a safe and secure environment.
Florence Crittenton Home serves as a residential group home providing emergency shelter services and long- term residential care for children and adolescents in need of a safe and secure environment.
Our beautiful campus includes The Curtis & Celia Massey Activity Center, The Heart Home Emergency Shelter, 3 foster homes (Soul, Mind and Strength) and a small playground.
