Homecoming 2010.......
~ To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven
Ecclesiastes 3
Dear Alumni, Friends, Neighbors, Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As summer comes to a close and we gladly welcome cooler temperatures, serene autumn colors, anticipating God’s fall splendor, we want to thank you for the prayers, support, and kindness you have graciously provided Free Will Baptist Family Ministries over the years.
FWB Family Ministries is about to embark in an exciting time as we prepare for our 75th Anniversary in 2014. Just short of a century, we are making plans for a year filled with celebration, praise, and glory. Family Ministries knows to “everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”. Family Ministries’ season never ends and our purpose remains strong as we provide unconditional love and support to young people and their families.
We are changing schedules and events to better serve our supporters while we prepare for this event. Certain events such as the annual Home Coming that takes place in the fall will not take place this year so that we can begin preparing for the 75th Anniversary and Celebration. As we get ready for this glorious event, we welcome your prayers, thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. Please join in our excitement as we are about to turn seventy-five years old and recognize this milestone could not happen without you!
Be looking for mailers and updates about the 75th Anniversary and Celebration. Please share this news about this year’s home coming as well as the much anticipated Anniversary celebration, with your church members, friends, family, and neighbors.
In His Service,
Dr. James Kilgore Rev Frank Woods

Has Special Drive for the Children
For 70 years, Free Will Baptist Family Ministries in Greeneville, TN, has been providing unconditional love, support, guidance and therapeutic treatment to hurting young people.
Youth are admitted into the Level II Enhanced Alcohol & Drug program, entitled “The Finish Line,” for an intensive rehabilitation program to deal with their issues of addiction. None of them come with a problem that cannot be overcome through the healing power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Adolescents who meet the program’s criteria are admitted into this alcohol and drug treatment program for 60 to 90 days. Sadly, there are those who will not be able to return to a biological family. Some do not know how a family unit operates or what can happen when parents believe and support them, rather than abuse and provide bad influences. These young men need spiritual and emotional counseling and guidance to build a strong foundation to rebuild broken lives.
Allen Johnson, driver of the NHRA Pro Stock Mopar Dodge Avenger, is an inspirational intervention for these young men. Allen and his crew mean a great deal to the youth at Free Will Baptist Family Ministries. Allen has been a supporter of Family Ministries for years. According to Dr. James Kilgore, Executive Director, “Allen has been a long-time supporter in many ways, and I am grateful for this generous gesture to promote and support programs provided by FWB Family Ministries.” Both will team up June 18th at Bristol Motor Speedway’s Thunder Valley to share with the race crowd information regarding services provided by FWB Family Ministries.
Free Will Baptist Family Ministries, headquartered in Greeneville, TN, has been providing unconditional love and support to young people and their families since 1939 through residential group homes, foster care, The Hope Center Crisis Pregnancy/Resource Center, The Oaks Retreat Center, The Laurels Retirement and Assisted Living and the newly announced Governor’s Bend Assisted Living in Erwin Tennessee.
